Students and clients often asks what the difference is between the three readings.
In a psychic reading we connect to the aura of the client and read what is in their field. This typically involves a little about the past, some present and some future. We may even pick up what they are feeling emotionally and if any energetic healing needs to take place. This is about the client and all aspects of their life.
Typically the client would come onto the call with a few questions about their life. They may have career questions or relationship questions. The psychic will then take a look at each question and say what they see or feel in that moment.
Remember the client is always free to choose something different.
In a mediumship reading, the medium will bypass the client and go directly to the spirit world. There will usually be a few people in the spirit world who would want to come and say hello. The medium cannot summons a loved one in spirit. They come of their own accord. The loved ones will share what they want to share through their eyes not the clients. This is often why the client misunderstands the information being relayed, as they may have a different perspective to the loved one in spirit.
As a reader, if you are conducting a mediumship reading, and lean into the client during the reading you are dropping your link and going psychic. By leaning forward, your ‘mediumship information’ is the clients perspective. To get back into the spirit link, you will need to sit up straight.
If your spine remains upright, your body is straight and even turned slightly away from the client, the information you are receiving in a mediumship reading will be directly from spirit.
A Medium can also offer a hybrid reading. They will begin the reading by connecting to the spirit world and sharing stories from loved ones and then will move into psychic to talk about aspects of the clients life. Often the psychic information is also coming from the loved ones in spirit. A combination reading can only be done by a medium.
A medium can communicate with the deceased. A psychic cannot. They may be able to get small pieces of information but cannot conduct a full 40 minute reading on those in the spirit world. A medium is naturally psychic and can therefore offer a combination of the two readings.
If you are wanting to book a reading and are not sure which reading to choose, remember mediumship is ‘talking to the deceased’, psychic is ‘taking a look at your life’ and a hybrid is ‘a combination of both’.
I only offer one type of reading online (face to face). This is a 45 minute Psychic and or Mediumship Connection. I have found that often clients are unsure of what they really want. This reading allows for all three types of readings to take place should the need arise.
